Senior corporate environmental team in New York is hiring a 2nd-year associate to support transactional and regulatory work across environmental, permitting, and energy-transition matters. The role will sit in a multi-disciplinary practice advising corporate clients, project developers, investors and lenders on environmental risk, compliance, and permitting.

Day-to-day work will include environmental diligence and contracting for commercial transactions, handling contaminated-site matters, and supporting climate‑related and carbon credit transactions tied to renewable and transitional energy projects. Collaboration with finance, tax and project teams across offices is expected.

Minimum of 2 years' environmental or related legal experience (PQE)
Experience on environmental issues in transactions, contaminated‑property matters, or energy transition work
Strong drafting, due diligence and regulatory/ permitting skills
Spanish or French and prior policy, government or sector experience in environment/energy a plus
