Senior-junior associate role within a market-leading Financial Sponsors team advising private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies across buyouts, bolt-ons, refinancings, restructurings and exits. The team handles high-value, complex sponsor-led M&A and downstream portfolio work.

The role offers immediate transaction exposure across due diligence, drafting and negotiation, signing and closing processes, and post-acquisition matters. The team provides structured training, mentorship and hybrid working (office-focused Monday–Thursday) alongside a competitive benefits package.

1–2 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) — common law market experience preferred
Transactional corporate or financial sponsor experience, ideally with private equity deal exposure
Practical experience supporting due diligence, drafting and negotiating SPAs (locked-box and completion accounts), disclosure schedules and ancillary transaction documents
Familiarity with management incentive arrangements and related shareholders’ agreements
Strong technical drafting, written communication and analytical skills
Proactive, collaborative and able to manage a busy workload in a fast-paced team
Commitment to professional development, marketing/knowhow contributions and pro bono work
