We are seeking an experienced in-house lawyer to join the Office of General Counsel in London on a newly created international-facing role. You will provide strategic legal and regulatory advice across the firm’s global footprint, working closely with the General Counsel and international risk partners to embed global strategy and compliance.

The role will cover cross-border regulatory matters (AML/economic crime, data protection, AI governance, conflicts and ethics), policy ownership, horizon scanning and training. You will be the principal OGC contact for international offices and will support engagement with regulators and international networks.

Qualified solicitor in England & Wales and admitted in at least one other international jurisdiction (preference for Hong Kong, Singapore or Luxembourg)
3-5 years PQE in an international firm or equivalent in-house experience
Practical experience in AML/economic crime, data protection, regulatory compliance and AI governance
Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, deliver training and work across time zones; strong commercial judgement and stakeholder management
Fluent English; additional language skills (Cantonese/Mandarin) desirable
