Top-tier US law firm is seeking a Tax associate to join its Global Tax Services group in the Charlotte office. The role focuses on transactional tax matters across private equity, public and private mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures and divestitures.

Successful candidates will work on a range of deal-related tax issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The team also values experience with fund formations and investment-structure work.

4-6 years of post-qualification tax experience (transactional focus)
Demonstrable experience on private equity and M&A transactions; fund formation experience a plus
Strong academic credentials and excellent verbal, writing and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple matters and work collaboratively with deal teams
