Associate — Insurance (Marine, Aviation, Transport & Property)

National insurance disputes team is hiring an Associate to join a specialist practice acting for insurers and industry participants on technically demanding matters. The role offers exposure across marine, aviation, transport and property lines and regular collaboration on cross-border disputes.

This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, insurance-focused environment with early client responsibility, structured mentoring and access to a global network of colleagues. The role is open to candidates based in major Australian offices (hybrid working).

• 2–4 years' PQE in insurance litigation, claims defence or related disputes work
• Exposure to or strong interest in marine, aviation, transport and/or property claims
• Commercial, detail‑oriented approach and ability to manage competing priorities
• Strong drafting, advocacy and client-facing skills; comfortable working on multi‑jurisdictional matters
