Join a market-leading indirect tax team in Sydney advising corporates, financial institutions, property groups and government on GST and cross-border indirect tax matters. The team provides technically rigorous, commercially focused advice and works on major M&A, infrastructure and property-related mandates.

This senior role will take ownership of complex indirect tax matters — managing audits, investigations and objections, advising on transaction structuring (including cross-border and financial services issues), and leading strategic GST workstreams. You will also mentor junior lawyers and contribute to business development.

6+ years PQE in taxation law with a strong focus on indirect tax (GST)
Deep technical knowledge of GST legislation, rulings and case law
Proven experience managing complex matters with limited supervision and providing transaction structuring advice
Experience supervising and mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to BD/client relationship management
Excellent written and oral communication; ability to translate technical issues into clear commercial advice
