Senior legal role within a high‑performing M&A team focused on superannuation, financial services and funds management. The hire will play a strategic role in shaping the practice, leading complex transactional and advisory matters and deepening client relationships.

Work will cover fund mergers and successor transfers, financial services transactions, governance and operating model design, product lifecycle and disclosure, regulatory reform and implementation, outsourcing and service provider arrangements, investment/advice frameworks and related disputes.

This is a hands‑on senior position that combines matter leadership, practice development and mentoring of junior lawyers within a collaborative, full‑service environment.

Proven experience in financial services / funds M&A and transactional work (superannuation, funds management, or related areas).
Strong technical capability, commercial judgement and experience leading complex matters and stakeholder relationships.
Track record of delivering clear, practical advice and high‑quality drafting on complex documents.
Demonstrable client leadership and business development experience; ability to mentor and develop junior lawyers.
