We are seeking an Associate to join a UK insurance disputes team with a focus on property-damage related losses. The role is open to candidates to support a growing office in the West Country while also assisting colleagues across other UK offices; the role operates on a hybrid basis.

The team advises insurers, reinsurers and related commercial clients on coverage issues, high-value defence instructions and subrogated recoveries arising from complex property, energy and construction claims. The role will involve technical coverage work, litigation management and client-facing responsibilities.

Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 2 years' PQE (or equivalent)
Proven experience handling complex property/insurance claims
Strong legal research and technical drafting skills
Excellent verbal and written communication; strong client-care skills
Ability to manage workload, prioritise and work proactively; willingness to participate in business development activity
