Apply in confidence →Join a well-established Bristol IP disputes team as a 3PQE Associate supporting contentious and non-contentious work, with particular emphasis on patent and trade mark litigation. The role offers exposure to High Court and IPEC matters and to clients across sectors including financial services, life sciences, software and electronics.
You will assist on end-to-end contentious matters, work with technical experts, support settlement and ADR processes, and contribute to commercial IP work and cross‑team matters. The team offers hands-on client contact and a clear path to increased responsibility within a collaborative, high-performing environment.
- Approximately 3 years' PQE in contentious intellectual property.
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales.
- Experience supporting High Court and/or IPEC litigation; patent litigation experience or demonstrable aptitude to develop in that area.
- Degree in a relevant science or engineering subject preferred and an interest in engaging with technical material.
- Strong drafting, legal research and analytical skills; good matter management and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Client-facing skills: clear communication, responsiveness and ability to build relationships.
