Join a growing Professional Liability team in Bristol as an Associate with responsibility for a varied caseload of professional indemnity and insurance disputes. The role offers regular exposure to both contentious and advisory work, acting for insurers and professionals across sectors such as construction, legal and financial services.

Day-to-day responsibilities include managing matters from inception to resolution, advising on coverage and policy issues, supporting High Court litigation, drafting pleadings and reports, and working with experts and counsel. The role also involves client-facing work and contribution to business development.

The team offers structured support for development, mentoring and opportunities for secondments and cross-office collaboration. The position is full-time and hybrid, suitable for solicitors with strong technical ability and a commercial interest in the insurance sector.

Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 2+ years' PQE
Experience in professional indemnity, insurance litigation or commercial disputes
Strong technical, drafting and analytical skills; experience of High Court work advantageous
Excellent client-handling and communication skills; proactive and collaborative approach
