Associate, Intellectual Property - Jeddah

We are seeking a qualified associate to join a growing IP and TMT practice in Jeddah. This is a newly created, non-contentious role focused on commercial IP work across technology, media and telecommunications matters.

The role involves advising on protection and registration (excluding prosecution) and licensing of patents, trademarks and copyright; drafting and negotiating IP and related commercial agreements; supporting IP and TMT due diligence for corporate transactions; and carrying out legal research on telecoms, cloud, software licensing, data protection and cybersecurity issues.

The team works on cross‑border projects and regularly coordinates with foreign counsel. The position offers the opportunity to develop within a well‑resourced regional IP/TMT practice.

• Bilingual Arabic and English.
• 3-5 years PQE post-qualification experience.
• Qualified lawyer with training and experience at a recognised international or regional top‑tier firm or in‑house team.
• Strong drafting skills for IP and commercial agreements, and practical knowledge of IP registration and licensing (note: no prosecution required).
• Experience conducting detailed legal research on TMT and related regulatory issues; ability to support IP due diligence in corporate matters.
• Good interpersonal skills, commercial judgement and initiative; experience preparing pitches/proposals or training materials an advantage.
