Apply in confidence →An established international law firm is hiring a Client AI Risk Lead to act as the primary contact for client queries about the use of artificial intelligence. The role supports client-facing teams and internal stakeholders by providing clear, practical guidance on AI risk, compliance and vendor use across multiple jurisdictions.
Key responsibilities include coordinating responses to client AI enquiries, developing and maintaining client‑facing and internal AI risk resources, supporting onboarding and contract review for AI‑related provisions, and advising on vendor due diligence and ongoing supplier risk management.
The role also contributes to firm‑wide AI risk policy, monitors regulatory and market developments, supports incident response and regulatory queries, and delivers training to internal and client audiences to ensure consistent, compliant handling of AI matters.
- Qualified lawyer with prior law firm experience.
- Demonstrable experience in legal AI, technology, innovation, or risk management — preferably in a professional services or law‑firm environment.
- Strong understanding of AI technologies, vendor risk, and relevant regulatory/ethical frameworks for the legal sector.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to explain technical issues to legal and non‑technical audiences.
- Strong organisational and project‑management skills; ability to manage multiple stakeholders across global teams.
