Associate — Labor & Employment (Portland)

Leading national labor & employment practice is hiring an associate to join its Portland office. The role focuses on employment litigation and counseling across multiple jurisdictions and offers substantial client contact, responsibility, and opportunity to work on complex workplace matters.

The ideal candidate will have experience handling discovery, pleadings, motions, and depositions, and will work collaboratively with a distributed team of employment professionals. This is a hybrid-role within a well-established national firm offering competitive compensation and benefits.

• Admission to practice in Oregon
• 2–7 years of experience, with employment litigation experience required (management-side experience preferred)
• Strong litigation skills: drafting/responding to discovery and pleadings, motion practice, and taking/defending depositions
• Excellent writing, analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple matters; self-starter who works well independently and on teams
• Prior employment counseling or in-house experience is a plus
