Labor & Employment Litigation Associate — Portland

Growing Labor & Employment litigation team in Portland is seeking an associate with 2–5 years of relevant experience to handle a mix of class‑action and single‑plaintiff matters. The role involves litigation and administrative charge work across federal, state, and local employment law.

Day‑to‑day responsibilities include preparing position statements, evaluating claims, handling discovery, taking and defending depositions, drafting motions, and assisting with mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation. Depending on experience, the role may also include counseling HR and business leaders on compliance and drafting employment agreements.

• Juris Doctor and active or transferable Oregon bar eligibility
• 2–5 years of labor & employment litigation experience, including class‑action and single‑plaintiff matters
• Experience with pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions practice, and trial/arbitration preparation
• Strong legal research and writing skills, attention to detail, and ability to provide practical, business‑minded advice
