Associate — Large Loss (Insurance) — Manchester

Senior associate-level role within a large-loss personal injury/insurance defence team based in Manchester. The postholder will work on multi-track, high-value road-traffic and catastrophic injury matters, assisting on liability, quantum, coverage and rehabilitation aspects and supporting the team’s insurer clients.

The team handles complex, high-profile cases and emphasises practical, client-focused solutions and technological/process innovations. The role is hybrid and offers exposure to a variety of multi-disciplinary matters and opportunities for on-the-job development, mentoring and internal secondments.

• Minimum c.3 years' post-qualification litigation experience, ideally in personal injury/insurance defence.
• Experience assisting on large or complex personal injury and/or coverage matters within a team environment.
• Comfortable with client contact, advising insurers or brokers, and managing casework to high service standards.
• Strong technical advocacy, drafting and case-management skills; collaborative approach to working with multi-disciplinary teams.
