Mid-level transactional associate role on a national energy team, focused on power and renewable energy transactions. The position will support M&A, joint ventures, development agreements and related transactional documents, and will manage diligence and closing processes.

Team-oriented role that requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across offices and regular engagement with senior lawyers and clients. Strong drafting, organization and project management skills are essential.

  • J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school and admission in good standing to the Texas Bar (timely admission to Texas will be required if not already admitted).
  • Approximately 4–6 years of relevant transactional experience in power and renewable energy (including M&A, joint ventures, development transactions).
  • Proven drafting and negotiation skills on purchase and sale agreements, joint venture/development agreements, and related transaction documents.
  • Strong project management, organizational skills, and ability to work on complex, multidisciplinary matters.
