Associate, Private Equity (Houston)

Growing private equity team in Houston seeks associates from law school classes 2021–2023 to work on a broad range of sponsor-led and corporate transactions. Work will include acquisitions, dispositions, minority investments, joint ventures and related general corporate matters.

The role requires taking significant responsibility on live deals: leading document drafting and negotiation, managing transaction workflows from inception through closing, and providing pragmatic, business-focused advice to clients. The team values strong judgment, commercial awareness and the ability to operate with autonomy.

• Solid foundation in corporate law and market-standard commercial terms
• Proven experience drafting and negotiating transaction documents in PE/M&A matters
• Demonstrated ability to manage deals from inception to closing and work independently
