Apply in confidence →Join a market-leading private wealth disputes team advising on trusts, wills, probate, mental capacity and succession disputes, including complex cross-border matters. The group handles high-value, multi-jurisdictional disputes and works closely with specialists in tax, reputation and private client services.
This new role offers early client responsibility: a mix of one or two large, complex matters supported by senior colleagues and a number of smaller files for which you will be the primary fee earner. Day-to-day work includes client liaison, case management, drafting applications and attending hearings.
The team values measured, diplomatic advocacy but will act robustly when required. There are also opportunities to contribute to business development and cross-department initiatives (e.g. luxury assets, mental capacity and family office matters).
- 0–1 years' PQE in litigation, with exposure to private client disputes
- Experience of trusts litigation, wills/succession, probate/estate administration and cross-border issues; Court of Protection and injunction experience desirable
- Working towards or started ACTAPS/STEP is advantageous
- Strong academic background and training at a reputable practice
- Excellent written and oral communication, strong case-management skills and attention to detail
- Commercial mindset, self-motivated and willing to contribute to business development; flexibility to work beyond core hours when required
