An opportunity has arisen for a London-based Senior Associate to join a vibrant and fast-growing Property & Casualty team. The team spans two offices and handles high-profile, high-value claims both domestically and internationally in a dynamic environment.

The successful candidate will manage a caseload of complex coverage and liability claims, occasionally including subrogated recoveries, and advise on intricate coverage issues under relevant insurance legislation. You will work closely with multiple partners and lawyers, with opportunities to supervise junior fee earners and take on supervisory and managerial responsibilities.

This role offers considerable autonomy and intellectually stimulating work. You will build and maintain strong client relationships, contribute to business development initiatives, and help foster a culture of continuous improvement through training, know-how sharing, and process enhancement.

6 years of PQE or equivalent relevant experience
A specialism in Property insurance, including coverage experience
Experience advising on a broad portfolio of insurance claims, including for multiple insurers across several sectors
Experience in defense of liability (including casualty) claims and associated strategy, including managing stakeholders such as adjusters, experts and counsel
Ability to deliver legal and commercial solutions collaboratively
Strong client relationship management skills and a commitment to business development
Commercial mindset when pricing, resourcing and using technology
Experience supervising and developing junior team members
