Associate — Professional & Financial Risks (Insurance) — Bristol

Join a Professional & Financial Risks team in Bristol handling professional indemnity claims, with a particular focus on insurance broker negligence and related commercial disputes. The role offers exposure to matters across a broad financial range and involvement in both pre- and post-litigation work.

The successful candidate will work alongside specialist lawyers defending brokers, advising on regulatory and risk-management issues, and contributing to client service and team development initiatives. There are opportunities for autonomy, client-facing work and business development.

• 2-5 years PQE with litigation experience; experience handling insurance broker negligence claims preferred
• Strong litigation skills, commercial awareness and ability to manage a caseload
• Excellent oral and written communication, attention to detail and organisational skills
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office and basic case management/MI processes; committed to collaborative working
