Associate — Professional Liability Litigation, Costa Mesa

Growing professional liability team in Costa Mesa is seeking an associate to handle defense work across real estate, personal injury and professional-malpractice matters. The role offers hands-on litigation exposure and the chance to work with an experienced trial team defending professionals and entities in a variety of liability contexts.

Ideal candidates will join a collaborative, full‑service national firm platform and will contribute to case preparation, motion practice, discovery, and trial support. The group is open to attorneys with direct professional liability experience or strong general litigation backgrounds who are interested in developing in this practice.

• Admission to the California bar required.
• 1–7 years of litigation experience, preferably with professional liability/PL insurance defense (e.g. D&O, legal malpractice, E&O, A&E).
• Strong legal research, drafting and courtroom/advocacy skills; trial or dispositive motion experience preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively on a fast‑paced defense docket; hybrid working model.
