Associate – Professional Liability

Exciting opportunity for an Associate (3+ years' PQE) to join a busy professional liability team based in Leeds or Newcastle on a hybrid working pattern. The team acts for insurers and a range of insured professionals, handling complex professional indemnity and insurance disputes.

The role involves managing a varied caseload from inception to resolution, advising on coverage and liability, handling construction-related professional liability matters, drafting pleadings and witness statements, and supporting business development and client relationship work. You will work closely with senior lawyers in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

• Qualified solicitor with 3+ years' PQE.
• Experience in professional indemnity, insurance litigation or complex commercial disputes.
• Preferably exposure to construction-related professional liability matters.
• Strong technical drafting, analytical skills and client-facing communication; commercially minded and collaborative.
