Associate — Public Agency & Municipal Litigation, Los Angeles

Growing Los Angeles litigation team seeks an associate to support a Public Agency & Municipal Law practice. The role focuses on defending public entities and law enforcement in state and federal courts and related administrative matters.

Typical responsibilities include drafting and responding to written discovery and initial pleadings, conducting meet-and-confer conferences, preparing and opposing motions, and taking/defending depositions. Trial experience is a plus but not required. The team provides litigation, counseling, and transactional support to cities, counties, special districts, school districts, and other public bodies.

• 2–7 years of civil litigation experience, preferably defending public entities and law enforcement
• Experience preparing/responding to written discovery, meet-and-confers, drafting motions, and taking/defending depositions
• Strong legal writing, analysis, and case-management skills
• Admission to the California Bar required
