Apply in confidence →Mid-level associate role on a U.S.-focused international trade team, based in Southern California (multiple offices). The team handles sanctions, export and import controls, customs, antidumping/countervailing duty matters, and foreign investment reviews.
The successful candidate will support regulatory counseling and litigation/administrative work and will work with a multidisciplinary group advising clients on compliance with export controls, sanctions, CFIUS, customs, and related international trade regimes.
- 5–7 years' experience in international trade law (law firm or relevant government agency experience preferred)
- Experience in several of the following: export controls (EAR/ITAR), sanctions/embargoes, CFIUS/foreign investment reviews, customs law, AD/CVD, or international trade agreements
- Admitted to and in good standing with the California bar
- Strong research, analytical, and written/verbal communication skills; solid academic credentials; application materials typically include resume, cover letter, and law school transcript
