Mid-level associate role on a U.S.-focused international trade team, based in Southern California (multiple offices). The team handles sanctions, export and import controls, customs, antidumping/countervailing duty matters, and foreign investment reviews.

The successful candidate will support regulatory counseling and litigation/administrative work and will work with a multidisciplinary group advising clients on compliance with export controls, sanctions, CFIUS, customs, and related international trade regimes.

5–7 years' experience in international trade law (law firm or relevant government agency experience preferred)
Experience in several of the following: export controls (EAR/ITAR), sanctions/embargoes, CFIUS/foreign investment reviews, customs law, AD/CVD, or international trade agreements
Admitted to and in good standing with the California bar
Strong research, analytical, and written/verbal communication skills; solid academic credentials; application materials typically include resume, cover letter, and law school transcript
