The role supports a full-scope international trade practice handling export controls, sanctions, customs, foreign investment reviews, antidumping/AD-CVD matters, and related regulatory work.
The role can be based in one of the firm's Southern California offices; preference will be given to candidates in or willing to relocate to Los Angeles, Century City, or Orange County. The position offers work before federal regulators and trade bodies and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.
- 5–7 years' international trade law experience (large firm or relevant government agency experience preferred)
- Admitted to and in good standing with the California bar
- Experience in several of the following: export controls (EAR/ITAR), sanctions, CFIUS/foreign investment reviews, customs law, trade remedies (AD/CVD), or international trade agreements
- Strong research, analytical, and written/verbal communication skills; excellent academic credentials
