Associate — Real Estate Finance

We are seeking a mid-level associate to join a national real estate finance team. This role is open to candidates based in Orange County (CA) or New York (NY); exceptional candidates in other U.S. offices may also be considered.

The team advises lenders on construction, bridge and permanent lending and handles highly structured commercial loan transactions. The role involves drafting and negotiating mortgage and loan documents, conducting real estate and entity due diligence, and managing matters through closing in collaboration with other team members.

• 4-6 years' real estate finance experience at a national or regional law firm
• Significant lender-side experience drafting and negotiating mortgage/loan documents (construction, bridge, permanent loans)
• Experience conducting real estate and entity due diligence
• Admitted and in good standing with the CA or NY State Bar
• Top academic credentials and strong legal writing skills; resume, cover letter and law school transcript required
