Associate — Restructuring & Special Situations Finance, Dallas

Top-tier firm seeking a finance associate to join a market-leading Business Restructuring & Reorganization team in Dallas. This role focuses on debtor/creditor-side financing matters in distressed and special-situations contexts.

Associates will work on liability management transactions, debtor-in-possession (DIP) financings, bankruptcy exit financings and other special-situations financings. Assignments include chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings for financial institutions and investment funds.

• Law school class years 2019 023
• Experience representing creditors or borrowers on liability management transactions, DIP financings, bankruptcy exit financings and special-situations financings
• Familiarity with hedge funds, CLOs, private equity funds and other financial institutions in chapter 11 and out-of-court restructurings
• Strong finance-focused restructuring experience and ability to manage complex capital-structure work
