Associate / Senior Associate, Corporate Private Equity — London

Join a busy private equity practice within a major international firm to work on upper mid‑market PE transactions, including buyouts, auction sales, management equity arrangements, public‑to‑privates and corporate advice to portfolio companies.

The role involves leading substantive deal work for fund clients and PE‑backed companies, managing transaction workflows, supervising junior lawyers and contributing to pitching, marketing and thought leadership to help grow the practice.

This position is suited to an English‑qualified solicitor or a foreign‑qualified lawyer whose main practice is private equity transactions and who is comfortable taking significant responsibility on deals.

• Typically 4–8 years’ PQE in private equity or private M&A.
• Proven experience on PE transactions (LBOs, buyouts, exits, equity arrangements).
• Strong drafting, negotiation and transaction/project management skills.
• Ability to lead deal work, supervise junior team members and support business development activities.
