A leading international law firm is seeking a mid-level venture capital lawyer to join its flexible resourcing team on an interim basis. The role is part-time (approximately 2 days per week) for an initial six-month assignment supporting a key client with commercial and fund-related work.

The postholder will be supported by a sponsoring partner and will have access to the firm's know-how and resources while working on the external assignment. This is a hands-on role for a lawyer able to manage their own workload and integrate with a client team.

Applicants must hold the right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available) and bring demonstrable venture capital and fund experience, including familiarity with EIS/KI funds and relevant retail/consumer duty considerations.

Qualified lawyer with venture capital experience in private practice or a financial institution
Practical experience with EIS and KI funds and awareness of retail/consumer duty issues
Mid-level experience, able to work autonomously and as part of a client-facing team
Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise in a fast-moving environment
Available for a part-time interim assignment (circa 2 days/week) for around 6 months
Right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship not available)
