Join a specialist Data & Cyber team advising insurers, corporates and brokers on cyber incidents, regulatory response and technology-related claims. The team combines cyber incident response capability with insurance coverage expertise to support clients from immediate breach containment through policy notification and dispute resolution.

Based in Bristol, this role (1-8 years' PQE) will work on breach response insurance matters, multi-insurer coverage claims, technology liability issues and incident-led regulatory engagements. You will act on high-pressure incident response mandates, support cross-disciplinary stakeholders (forensics, brokers, in-house teams) and, at senior level, supervise junior lawyers.

  • 1-8 years' PQE in cyber/data, insurance coverage or related technology claims.
  • Experience advising on breach response and cyber/tech insurance policies; multi-insurer claims desirable.
  • Familiarity with cyber incident response workflows and handling high-pressure breaches (including ransomware scenarios).
  • Working knowledge of UK regulatory landscape (including ICO interaction) and data protection implications for incident response.
  • Strong drafting, analytical and project-management skills; evidence of client-facing experience and commercial judgment.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing deadlines and, for senior level, supervise junior team members.
