Associate / Senior Associate, Global Loans — New York

Join a growing global loans team in New York advising bank lenders, private credit funds and corporate borrowers on a high-volume, cross-border transactional desk. Work will span acquisition finance, fund finance, leveraged loans, restructuring/special situations and bespoke secured financings across sectors including energy and infrastructure.

The role offers responsibility across the full life cycle of transactions consistent with seniority, regular interaction with international offices, secondment opportunities and support for business development and travel. Successful candidates will be expected to manage deal workstreams, draft and negotiate primary loan documentation, and contribute to a solution-oriented, client-focused practice.

• Proven leveraged finance experience at a large global firm or recognised finance boutique.
• Familiarity with a range of debt structures, particularly acquisition finance, secured lending and private credit transactions.
• Strong technical drafting and negotiation skills for primary loan documentation and closing management.
• Commercial, pragmatic approach with the ability to work across time zones and contribute in a team-based global environment.
• J.D. or LL.M. and admission to the New York Bar (or eligibility for waiver).
