Seek an intellectually stimulating role within a nationally ranked professional and commercial risk team supporting insurers on financial lines matters. The position focuses on Directors' & Officers' (D&O) insurance and broader coverage work, including advising on policy coverage and defending claims brought against directors, officers and insured companies.

You will handle a varied D&O and financial-lines caseload, work regularly with leading insurer clients, and collaborate with specialists across employment, regulatory and white-collar crime areas. The role offers opportunities for client engagement, technical development and contribution to the team’s continued growth.

Minimum c.3 years' PQE, ideally gained in a specialist insurance practice or in-house at a financial-lines insurer
Practical experience advising on coverage under financial-lines policies, ideally including D&O/management liability
Strong client-handling and relationship skills; able to interact confidently with insurer clients
Experience on secondment with a financial-lines insurer would be beneficial
Proven ability to draft clear, well-reasoned coverage advice and reports on complex issues
Self-sufficient and able to manage own files, with sound commercial judgment
Team-oriented, collegiate approach and willingness to support wider business development and change initiatives
