We are seeking a commercially minded solicitor (c.2–6 years' PQE) to join a busy Commercial, Public Procurement, Infrastructure & Projects practice in Newcastle. The role involves advising predominantly public sector clients on a mix of high-quality commercial contracts and nationally significant infrastructure, outsourcing and PPP/PFI projects.

You will work on multidisciplinary matters with colleagues across procurement, projects, real estate, construction and disputes teams, advising on procurement strategy and compliance, contract lifecycle issues and large-scale service delivery arrangements.

2–6 years' PQE in commercial, projects, public sector or infrastructure practice
Proven experience drafting, negotiating and advising on complex commercial contracts
Experience of, or strong interest in, public sector contracting and UK public procurement law
Experience or exposure to outsourcing, managed services, technology contracts, infrastructure projects or PFI/PPP arrangements (desirable)
Pragmatic, commercially focused approach and strong relationship-management and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively on cross-disciplinary teams and support business development and thought leadership
