Join a nationally recognised professional and commercial risk team handling high-quality insurer instructions. The role sits in a busy financial‑lines service line with a particular focus on Directors' & Officers' (D&O) coverage and related management liability matters.

You will manage a stimulating D&O and coverage caseload, advise insurer clients on coverage issues, work alongside specialists in areas such as employment and regulatory/white‑collar matters, and contribute to the team's continued growth.

The role offers client contact, collaborative teamwork, and scope to develop technical knowledge and business development capability within a flexible working environment.

At least 3 years' PQE, ideally gained at a specialist insurance practice or in‑house with a financial‑lines insurer
Practical experience advising on insurance coverage under financial lines policies, particularly D&O/management liability
Strong client‑handling and relationship skills with regular insurer contact
Secondment experience with a financial‑lines insurer would be beneficial
Ability to produce clear, well‑reasoned written advice on complex coverage issues
Reasonable level of self‑sufficiency and case ownership commensurate with experience
Commercial, client‑focused approach and eagerness to learn emerging legal issues
Change‑oriented, team‑focused and willing to contribute to business development and firm initiatives
