Join a global projects, energy and infrastructure team in Tokyo focused on project development and construction across the energy transition and broader infrastructure sectors. The role sits in a market-leading Projects & Construction group advising on greenfield projects, EPC and revenue contracts, concessions and related commercial agreements within an energy and project finance context.

You'll work on cross-border matters with internal teams and external stakeholders, providing commercial legal advice, drafting and negotiating project contracts, managing workstreams and supervising junior lawyers. There are opportunities to contribute to business development and sector knowledge sharing within a fast-paced practice.

Qualified lawyer with 2.0–6.5 years' post-qualification experience.
Proven experience on EPC/construction contracts, revenue contracts (e.g. PPAs), concessions and project development matters — ideally within energy and project finance.
Preferably sponsor-side experience; lender, offtaker, contractor or government-side experience also valued.
Strong drafting, negotiation and matter-management skills; proven teamwork and supervision ability.
Commercial awareness, business development aptitude, excellent communication and attention to detail.
