Mid-level Japan-qualified bengoshi to join a busy Tokyo real estate and capital markets team advising domestic and international investors on complex real estate investments and securitisation matters. The role involves advising on investment structures, regulatory compliance and cross-border transactions.

Key duties include leading and supporting transactions using TMK and GK‑TK structures, advising on TMK Law and related regulatory issues, drafting and negotiating investment and financing documentation, coordinating due diligence, and working with overseas teams to deliver integrated advice.

The team offers exposure to high-value, technically complex matters, opportunities for client-facing work and contribution to business development and internal knowledge-sharing.

Japan-qualified bengoshi with c.3–6 years PQE in real estate or structured finance
Demonstrable experience with Japanese real estate transactions and TMK / GK‑TK investment structures
Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (including TMK Law)
Excellent drafting and negotiation skills in Japanese and English
Ability to manage multiple workstreams, work with cross-border teams, and mentor junior staff
