Associate / Senior Associate — Tax (Melbourne)

Well-regarded national law firm is seeking a Tax Associate or Senior Associate to join its Melbourne tax team. The role offers exposure to a wide range of corporate and advisory tax work, including transactional tax, advisory projects and tax compliance matters for investor and corporate clients.

The team advises on practical tax structuring, due diligence and implementation work across domestic and cross-border matters. The role suits a technically strong lawyer who enjoys client-facing advisory work and collaborating with deal and specialist teams.

• Qualified lawyer or tax adviser admitted/registered in Australia (or eligible for admission/registration).
• Practical experience in corporate/transactional tax, tax advisory or related tax compliance work.
• Strong technical tax skills, commercial judgement and drafting ability.
• Ability to work collaboratively on multi-disciplinary matters and manage client expectations.
