Associate, Tax — Houston

Top-tier law firm tax group in Houston is hiring associates from law school class years 2019–2025 to join a growing transactional tax practice. The team advises on complex tax aspects of corporate and fund matters and works closely with deal teams on high‑stakes transactions.

Candidates will work on a mix of matters including private equity and strategic M&A, capital markets (spin‑offs and IPOs), energy taxation (oil & gas and energy transition), investment fund formation, and tax aspects of real estate/REIT transactions. The role offers client contact and opportunities to present at conferences and other public forums.

• Law school graduation year between 2019 and 2025
• Relevant transactional tax experience (examples: M&A, capital markets, energy taxation, fund formation, or REIT/real estate tax)
• Strong tax research and writing skills; excellent oral communication and analytical ability
