Associate, Tax (Real Estate) — Houston

We are seeking associates (law school class years 2022 and above) to join a busy tax practice with a strong real estate focus. The role will work on tax matters involving real estate and REIT structures, supporting deal teams and providing tax research and drafting.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate solid technical tax research skills, excellent written and oral communication, strong analytical ability, and top academic credentials. The position requires intellectual curiosity and a willingness to tackle novel and complex tax issues.

• Law school graduate; class year 2022 or later
• Coursework or experience in tax law and strong legal research skills
• Interest and/or experience in real estate and REIT-related tax matters
• Excellent writing, oral advocacy, and analytical skills
• Top academic record and ability to work on complex, creative tax issues
