Our client, a premier national law firm, is seeking an Associate to join its growing Technology, Media and Intellectual Property practice. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-profile matters within a collaborative and dynamic team environment.

Based in either Sydney or Melbourne, the successful candidate will have the chance to develop their expertise in a full spectrum of IP matters, working with blue-chip clients across various industries.

Key responsibilities will include:

Delivering high-quality advice and support on technology, media, and intellectual property matters
Drafting and negotiating a range of agreements
Conducting legal research and preparing opinions
Managing client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives

To be successful, you will ideally have at least 3 years' post-admission experience in a reputable IP/Technology practice. Strong drafting and communication skills, along with a commercial mindset, are essential.

Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
Strong academic credentials
Proven ability to manage a busy workload and work effectively in a team
