About the team: You'll be part of one of the country's largest and most respected insurance law practices, advising leading insurers and insureds on complex coverage, defence, and liability matters. About the role: You'll handle a broad range of construction and engineering disputes, including complex defect, indemnity, and liability matters, with exposure to large-scale litigated claims from construction and infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities:

Managing day-to-day conduct of commercial litigation matters with supervision and support
Drafting correspondence, pleadings, submissions, affidavits, and other court/tribunal documents
Appearing at mediations, settlement conferences, tribunals, and court hearings
Preparing clear, practical, and commercially focused advice for clients
Building and maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives
Managing client reporting and portal obligations
Collaborating with colleagues on complex matters and mentoring junior lawyers, graduates, and clerks

About you: You'll hold (or be eligible for) a current NSW practising certificate, have 3+ years' PAE with experience in construction, engineering, and/or property insurance matters, and enjoy working directly with clients. Experience in subrogated recovery matters is advantageous. Strong communication, detail orientation, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment are essential.
