A leading international law firm is seeking a commercially-minded and intellectually curious Knowledge Lawyer to join its national Class Actions team in Sydney. This role sits within one of the most dynamic areas of the firm's litigation practice and is central to shaping how the team delivers, innovates and grows.

The position has a particular focus on supporting the development and implementation of AI-enabled solutions to improve matter delivery, knowledge management, client service and operational efficiency. The firm has invested heavily in AI and legal technology, and this role will contribute to the practice's AI and data strategy by helping to build workflows, products and knowledge resources.

Responsibilities include monitoring market developments to identify opportunities with prospective and existing clients, managing preparation of key materials for external business development activities such as client talks, podcasts and roundtables, and collaborating with partners, business development and learning teams to create thought leadership, training and blogs. The role also involves acting as a subject matter expert on knowledge-related projects and supporting initiatives that leverage matter data and market intelligence to create value for clients and the practice.

A law degree and relevant practice experience in class actions or related disputes
5 or more years post-admission experience
An interest in building strategic business relationships and pursuing new business
High credibility and the ability to act as a trusted adviser to partners and staff at all levels
Ability to work autonomously, flexibly and effectively with a wide variety of people
An innovative mindset and curiosity about AI and emerging technologies
