Join a market-leading Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) practice in Belfast as an Associate focused on data privacy, cyber security and digital regulation. You will work on cyber incident response, regulatory investigations, technology disputes and strategic data-protection matters for major domestic and international clients.

The role involves managing incident response workflows, advising on UK/EU data protection compliance and international transfers, drafting and negotiating data clauses in commercial and technology contracts, and supporting regulatory and litigation matters. You will collaborate with cross-border teams and contribute to business development and thought leadership.

  • 1–3 years’ PQE in data privacy, cyber incident response, technology disputes or digital regulation
  • Strong working knowledge of UK GDPR and EU GDPR and experience with data transfers and privacy documentation
  • Experience managing complex matters with multiple stakeholders (forensic teams, insurers, regulators, external counsel)
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation and client-management skills; commercial awareness and interest in technology and AI regulation
  • England & Wales qualification desirable or willingness to obtain dual qualification
