National banking team seeks a commercially minded Associate or Senior Associate to work on a broad range of banking transactions, including acquisition finance, real estate finance, project finance and asset‑based lending. The role is open to candidates based at any of the team's UK offices (including Birmingham, Nottingham, Manchester or Reading) and supports hybrid and flexible working.

The team acts for a mix of UK financial institutions, specialist lenders and corporate borrowers on both domestic and cross‑border matters. The role offers exposure to complex lending structures, active involvement in live deals and clear development and business‑development support.

Qualified to practise in England & Wales (or equivalent)
4–7 years' post‑qualification experience in banking/finance
Proven drafting experience of facility agreements (including LMA style documentation), credit agreements and related security documentation
Strong technical, negotiation and interpersonal skills; ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
Commercial mindset with an interest in business development and client engagement
