Seeking a business immigration associate to join a dedicated immigration practice in Chicago. The role offers hands-on work on complex employment-based and nonimmigrant matters, client-facing responsibility, and collaboration with a team focused exclusively on immigration law.

Responsibilities include researching technical immigration issues, preparing and filing petitions, advising clients on strategy and compliance, and participating in client meetings and business development initiatives. The position emphasizes high-quality client service, document and file management, and adherence to firm protocols and SLAs.

JD or LLM degree required
Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience as an attorney
Membership in a U.S. state bar or the D.C. bar required
Experience researching complex immigration issues and using administrative decisions and agency guidance to develop solutions
Experience drafting and filing complex petitions (e.g., O-1, TN, H-1B, L-1; EB-1, EB-2, EB-3, I-140, PERM)
Experience mentoring or supervising junior lawyers or support staff and contributing to process improvement
Ability to communicate complex issues clearly to clients and stakeholders and to meet productivity and billing goals
