Casualty Senior Associate — Insurance, Glasgow

Experienced casualty litigator sought for a dedicated insurance defence team in Glasgow. The role involves managing a varied caseload of employers' liability, public liability, motor and disease claims, including pre‑litigation and defended matters, with exposure to higher‑value and complex files.

Day‑to‑day responsibilities include running your own cases, liaising with insurers and insureds, engaging with court processes in Scotland, assisting with regulatory and fatal accident inquiries where appropriate, and supporting the development of junior team members.

• Minimum 5 years' PQE in defence casualty work (EL/PL).
• Proven experience managing own caseload of EL/PL claims; motor, disease and fraud experience desirable.
• Familiarity with Sheriff Court and Court of Session procedure in Scotland preferred.
• Strong client communication, file management and time‑management skills; experience supervising junior fee‑earners.
