Casualty Solicitor — Insurance, Glasgow

Join a national insurance defence team as a Solicitor (2–3 years PQE) handling a varied caseload of claimant and defendant personal injury matters. The role is based in Glasgow and covers EL/PL, disease, motor and related fraud matters, including some high-value and complex files.

You will run your own matters day-to-day: client and opponent contact, court engagement, witness liaison and liability investigations. The team receives instructions from insurers, insureds and public bodies and provides specialist casualty defence services across the UK.

• 2–3 years PQE as a qualified solicitor
• Previous PI defender experience with proven handling of EL/PL casualty claims
• Experience with motor, disease or fraud claims desirable
• Ability to manage own caseload, meet chargeable targets and work to strict deadlines
• Good knowledge of Sheriff Court and Court of Session procedure preferred
• Strong communication, organisation and team-working skills; flexible and willing to travel
