Join a specialist clinical negligence team handling a broad range of healthcare disputes, including clinical negligence, clinical governance, consent and mental health matters. The team combines legal and clinical expertise and works closely with public healthcare organisations.

The role is a defendant-side litigation position managing a caseload of litigated and pre‑litigation clinical negligence claims, with an emphasis on acting for NHS and healthcare clients. You will conduct investigations, manage key dates and pleadings, liaise with counsel, experts and external solicitors, and contribute to client care and business development.

Qualified solicitor with 4+ years' PQE
Proven experience defending high‑value and complex clinical negligence claims (defendant-side/NHS experience preferred)
Strong technical knowledge of civil procedure and clinical negligence law
Excellent advocacy, investigation and case‑management skills; ability to meet chargeable and diary targets
Experience supervising or training junior team members and contributing to business development
