Fixed-term (12 month) opportunity for an associate to join a commercial disputes team across Scottish offices. The role will contribute to a national commercial disputes project and work alongside experienced litigation lawyers on a varied caseload.

The team handles a broad range of contentious matters including commercial litigation, insurance & reinsurance, fraud, construction, IP and regulatory disputes, and routinely uses litigation and alternative dispute resolution to achieve commercial outcomes.

This is a collaborative role that offers exposure to high-calibre work, cross-office cooperation and client-facing matters within a supportive, collegiate environment.

Qualified solicitor with approximately 2.5 years PQE.
Experience in general commercial disputes; defender personal injury experience is advantageous.
Strong drafting, advocacy-support and communication skills.
Commercial, pragmatic approach and ability to work to deadlines in a busy environment.
Team player comfortable working across offices and supporting senior fee-earners on complex matters.
