Join a specialist Financial Lines Insurance team in Edinburgh that defends professional indemnity claims for insurers and policyholders across sectors including construction, accountancy and financial services. The team handles complex, high-value and often multi-jurisdictional matters and provides coverage advice and litigation support.

This role is for a Senior Associate to manage a varied caseload from pre-action through resolution, work closely with a national team (with regular collaboration across UK offices), and contribute to the growth and strategy of the Scottish practice.

Expect a client-facing, supervisory role that combines technical insurance-litigation work with business development and mentoring responsibilities.

Qualified solicitor in Scotland (or dual-qualified) with minimum 4 years PQE.
Background in professional indemnity and/or insurance litigation; strong commercial litigation candidates considered.
Experience defending claims involving financial services, brokers, accountants or construction professionals desirable.
Proven ability to manage complex, high-value disputes independently; excellent technical and commercial awareness.
Strong communication, client relationship skills and experience supervising junior lawyers.
