Commercial Litigation Associate — Washington, D.C.

Mid-level associate role on a busy commercial litigation team in the Washington, D.C. office of a leading national law firm. The team handles complex commercial disputes across a range of industries and legal subject matters.

Day-to-day responsibilities include managing litigation workflow and deadlines across multiple matters, preparing filings, drafting motions/briefs and discovery, and participating in depositions and large-scale litigation tasks. The role emphasizes strong legal writing, analytical ability, and teamwork.

Applicants must be admitted to and in good standing with the D.C. Bar. Law school transcripts are requested with submissions.

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
• Minimum of 3 years’ litigation experience at a law firm
• Admission to and good standing with the D.C. Bar
• Proven legal writing and analytical skills; experience drafting motions, briefs, and written discovery
• Some deposition experience and exposure to large, multi-workstream litigation matters
• Strong organizational skills, ability to manage deadlines across multiple matters, and effective team-oriented interpersonal skills
